I’m Dreaming of a virtual Christmas!

It seems like a distant memory when the Assure UK team played Zorb football for our quarterly team activity, all of us within 2 meters of each other, running and crashing, trying our hardest to score a goal. Today our team activities are very different.

Due to Covid-19 guidelines and regulations we have been practicing social distancing and limiting all contact with the team to keep ourselves and others safe. As we move into December, our thoughts are pointed towards Christmas celebrations, and how will we get together as a team this year, virtually.

Here are some ideas for virtual Christmas team activities:

1. Cook along, this could be with a professional chef/company or if one of your team members is skilled in this area, they could lead the demonstration
2. Escape room, smaller teams can work together with or without a professional host
3. Bingo, large companies can all play virtually together

No matter the size of your company or your budget there is a virtual experience that will bring your team together in a safe and responsible way at this strange time.

For us we are trying to keep our Christmas team activity a surprise, sending out a gift wrapped pack to everyone at home, we will share our experience via Microsoft Teams while enjoying a drink and laughs together.
