B1G1 – One year later

It has almost been a year since Assure UK fully implemented the Buy One Give One (B1G1) scheme into our everyday working life and what a year it has been. Giving back has been a part of Assure UK ethos for many years with a total of 4,789 impacts being made.

We haven’t let the last year stop us from making a difference in the world.

Thank you to the majority of our audit clients who have helped us make this difference, if it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t have been able to get the ball rolling. Between 1 January 2021 and 31 July 2021, we have been able to make 51 impacts. Every impact equates to 5 trees being planted. We are expecting to see an influx of impacts to be made once we have signed off on our March year end schemes and we can’t wait to see the difference this will make.

Every time we sign a set of accounts electrically, we plant 5 trees.

Other recent impacts made

Assure UK attended the Business For Good week hosted by the founders of B1G1. From this week we took part in challenges. This allowed us to provide an additional 100 days of education support to children globally and 1,000 days access to water to people around the world.
By taking part in the B1G1 scheme it makes us appreciate the life we have along with the work opportunities that we have access to where others may not and by just taking that small time out of our day to make this difference.
