Assure UK shortlisted in the Cherwell Business Awards

Local Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors, Assure UK has been shortlisted for the ‘Apprenticeship and Training Award’ at the impending 2019 Cherwell Business Awards.

Now in its 8th year, the Cherwell Business Awards aim to bring the business community together in the Cherwell district to celebrate hard work and excellence and showcase true success stories.

The awards are judged by representatives from a variety of organisations including Bicester Village, Bicester Chamber of Commerce, Bicester Vision, Wednesday Business Club, Spratt Endicott, Oxford Innovation, Oxford Technology Park, Ellacotts, High Spec Composites, A2 Dominion, OJI Marketing Ltd, Norbar Torque Tools and the Apprenticeship and Training Company.

The awards will take place at the highly anticipated Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Friday 10 May at the stunning Heythrop Park in Enstone.

Assure UK currently employ seven apprentices and trainees across two industries, accountancy and marketing. The accountancy trainees work towards their ACCA qualification whilst gaining practical on the job experience.

“I have been with Assure UK just over 9 months and have been training for 5 months. Assure UK has helped me gain tremendous knowledge in Audit and Assurance, this has assisted me in passing my first 2 exams. My next course starts at the end of January 2019.

I am working towards project managing my own project and with the guidance of my managers and directors, I have no doubt I will be able to achieve this in the coming months. Everyone in the company is willing to assist in any way they can looking to gain success in all areas of the work environment.”
